A Helpful Boss

Sometimes we come across a really helpful person without knowing who she/he is; like it happened to me with my new boss. When I was searching for a job, I came across this offer which I accepted in spite of the low pay. I aimed at gaining some experience at that moment and wasn’t really looking at the pay scale. During my first trial week at my job, she liked my performance and told me that I deserved more than what the company was paying. Luckily for me, the CEOs of that company came to visit our branch and she being a good human being put in a special word for me, ( without me asking ) for my increased pay. Guess what! I got an immediate increment without asking. This is the second truly helpful person I have met during my span of life and I owe her a lot.
